Domaine Remoriquet

Domaine Remoriquet is rooted in Burgundy’s tradition of family winemaking, where vineyards, knowledge, and passion are passed from one generation to the next. The estate’s story began when Louis Remoriquet (1865–1920) settled in Nuits-Saint-Georges with his wife, Hélène Lacour (1872–1963). A pioneer in her own right, Hélène became the first female winegrower inducted into the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin in 1948. Over four generations, the family steadily expanded the domaine to 9.5 hectares of vines located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Hautes-Côtes de Nuits (Chaux), and Vosne-Romanée.
In 1979, great-grandson Gilles Remoriquet took over after completing viticulture studies in Beaune and earning a National Diploma in Oenology from the University of Dijon. For more than three decades, he has worked closely with his cousin, Patricia Guenot, blending technical expertise, shared insight, and deep respect for terroir to craft wines that honor both tradition and innovation.
