In Burgundy, winemaking is a family legacy passed through generations. At Domaine Remoriquet, respect for the land and love of the craft continue across four generations.
Originally from Broin near Cîteaux, Louis Remoriquet (1865–1920) settled in Nuits-Saint-Georges with his wife, Hélène Lacour (1872–1963), the first female winegrower inducted into the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin in 1948. The family gradually built a 9.5-hectare estate in the Côte de Nuits, spanning Nuits-Saint-Georges, Hautes-Côtes de Nuits (Chaux), and Vosne-Romanée.
In 1979, Gilles Remoriquet took over, working alongside his cousin Patricia Guenot, combining expertise in both vineyard and cellar.
